This year’s western trend has been active wear. We have found the cutest active wear for our rock and roll cowgirls. We carry two lengths of workout leggings; long and mid-calf. All our active wear leggings have a western theme and mesh cutouts. Our most popular cowgirl leggings are the Texas longhorn with flowers. Fringe has always been synonymous with western style. You would be surprised at one point in time fringe actually had a purpose. Fringe was originally incorporated in the western attire to repel rainwater that might have otherwise penetrated the material through seams. After going to the Dallas Market Center we got a good sense of what this years Fall/ Winter 2017 trends will be. This season’s western fashion trends will be soft and romantic. With the color pallet of light pinks, greens, blues, and off whites. Vintage flower prints were everywhere at Dallas Mart. While at Mart we purchased oversized flower printed tops with front criss cross lattice accents. These modern day cowgirl tops are loose and perfect to pair with a solid pair of leggings, your western boots, and a fleece lined vest. Another hot item at Mart was scarves. Scarves are the perfect fashion accessory with an actual function but add individual style to every cowgirls outfit. We know it gets cold in the Midwest and this year we wanted to make sure we purchased a verity of scarves for our western online store. Soon to come will be heavy knit scarves, lace scarves, western printed scarves, and plaid scarves.
Western inspirational t shirts are still on trend this season. They are perfect to layer with and pair with your western jeans. These fun cowgirl t shirts are great conversation starters and give you insight about the cowgirl who’s wearing them. Another hot trend here to stay are Tattoo printed Indian Headdress Shirts and Texas Longhorns with Flowers. We were excited to see Aztec Knits were still on trend. The Aztec cardigans and western kimonos were manufactured in soft colors such as teal, pink, and off white. Western knits are classic and look great paired with skinny jeans your leather knee high boots and a western belt. Printed western leggings are still on trend this season.
